Colleges & Universities
The Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) offers customized tours and programs for undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of academic fields. Through guided discussions, tours, and workshops, students explore MOCA’s exhibitions and critically examine themes and topics such as civic engagement, immigration, race and identity, human rights, diversity, social justice, and community studies. These customized visits are specifically designed to fit the needs of the students, enhance professors' curricula, and provide students with a more in-depth museum experience.
Additionally, MOCA collaborates with colleges and universities to host professional panels and inspiring talks led by historians, scholars, museum specialists, and experts in Asian American Studies, Ethnic Studies, American History, Public Policy, Civil Rights, Public History, Oral History, Museum Studies, and other related fields.
