Nervous about the police or immigration enforcement?

What do you do if the police or ICE came to your home?

What can you do?

The Museum of Chinese in America, with members of the Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc.’s CORE Values Campaign, invite you to the third workshop in our Know Your Rights series. In this session, we will be covering:

• WHAT your legal rights as a New York resident are.
• HOW you can talk to law and immigration enforcement.
• WHO can help you if you are detained or have legal difficulties.
• HOW you and your family and friends can be ready for an emergency situation.
• HOW you can avoid fraud and scams.

This workshop will help you find the answers to these questions, and you will get practice standing up for your legal rights as an immigrant in New York.

Legal fellows from the Immigrant Justice Corps will be there to answer questions you have about your rights as an immigrant.
