About Angel Au
Angel Au is a trans Chinese-American drag performer based here in NYC. A two time Glam Awards nominee for Breakthrough Artist & Best Dressed, she loves turning looks and making people smile. She strives to be the representation she lacked growing up. Angel has been featured in publications like Paper Magazine, Them Magazine, DAZED Magazine and the cover of Harper’s Bazaar KZ.
Based in New York, NY, P.H.0 is a silkpunk/cybermetal quintet with an all East-Asian lineup. P.H.0 has released one self-titled EP and one full-length album, and has extensively performed live shows throughout New York City. The band’s sound seamlessly blends traditional East Asian folk musical elements with “a potpourri of genres both brutal and futuristic”, creating a dynamic fusion of tradition and futurism and of sonic brutality and ambient soundscape. Entrenched at a crossroad of progressive metal, post-rock, retro-futuristic synthwave, drum n’ bass, and industrial techno, their music defies easy categorization. In this innovative approach, P.H.0’s debut album, ‘KARMA’, has been praised by critics for “challenging our preconceived notions of how to categorize music” and “re-contextualizing Western sounds within a distinctly Eastern framework”, and in the process of doing so, evoking a deep connection to a culture and heritage that many with a similar background may have become distanced from. To some critics, the band’s music is “reimagining what Asian music might sound like” or seen as a unique glimpse into the future of music.
About DJ Aspirin
The melodies and rhythms that resonate within me are the truest expressions of my soul. Music isn’t just a part of my existence; it’s the language I articulate, the legacy I’m sculpting, and the connection I offer to the universe.
Every masterpiece—whether already created, in the process of creation, or yet to be envisioned—is simply channeled through us. Once released, it belongs to the world, just as the words I share.
I am the Fool of the tarot deck, I’m bold, curious, and no past or future, whose role is to remind others of who they truly are—to encourage love, joy, and mirth in their lives.
